Following on from my last post, another stand out statistic from Amazon’s Bestselling Kindle books of 2012 list is that of the 100 listed books, 15 were self-published (at least originally). Wow – almost one in six!
This is great encouragement for all you wannabe writers out there – particularly as e-books represent a cheaper route into the market.
Remember though that a good edit and a good cover remain essential.
